2aus dem Demos Anagyrous stellte den Antrag: da die Kaufleute und
3Schiffseigner darlegen, dass Apollonides S.d. Demetrios
4aus Sidon ein guter und wohlwollender Mann
5gegenüber dem Volk der Athener ist, wolle beschließen das Volk:
6dass man belobige Apollonides S.d. Demetrios aus Sidon
7und ihn bekränze mit goldenem Kranz im
8Wert von eintausend Drachmen wegen seiner Leistung und seines Wohlwollens
9gegenüber dem Volk der Athener, und dass er
10Proxenos und Wohltäter des Volkes der Athener
11sei, er selbst und die Nachkommen; dass ihm auch das Recht sei zum Erwerb
12von Grund und Haus nach dem Gesetz; dass
13diesen Beschluss aufzeichne der Sekretär des Rates
14auf eine steinerne Stele und aufstelle auf der Akropolis;
15dass für die Aufzeichnung auf die Stele der Schatzmeister
16des Volkes 20 Drachmen gebe aus dem
17Dekret-Fonds des Volkes.

3shippers declare that Apollonides son of Demetrios
4of Sidon is a good man and well
5disposed towards the Athenian People, the People shall decide:
6to praise Apollonides son of Demetrios of Sidon
7and crown him with a gold crown of
8a thousand drachmas for his excellence and good will
9towards the Athenian People, and he shall be
10proxenos and benefactor of the Athenian People,
11himself and his descendants; and he shall have right of ownership of land
12and a house according to the law; and the secretary
13of the Council shall inscribe this decree
14on a stone stele and stand it on the acropolis;
15and for inscribing the stele the treasurer
16of the People shall give 20 drachmas from the
17People’s fund for expenditure on decrees.
